Management Team
Experienced Management Team: The Motivational management team brings a depth of experience and breadth of knowledge that is unequaled in the industry. A few of our key senior management members are:  

Hal Altman – Co-Founder and President
Hal Altman is the founder and President of Motivational Fulfillment & Logistics Services (MFLS). Mr. Altman co-founded MFLS thirty-three years ago and is one of the most experienced people in the fulfillment and logistics industry. He has been a guest speaker and panelist for the Electronic Retail Association, Response Magazine, U.S. Post Office, National Postal Day, Southern California Marketing Association, National Web Marketing Associations, and many other marketing associations around the country. Mr. Altman was recently named Volunteer of the Year at the annual Electronic Retailing Association D2C convention and show in Las Vegas.

Before founding MFLS Mr. Altman was Advertising Manager of Carte Blanche Credit Card Company, Sales Promotion Manager of Union Oil, Sales Manager for National Silver Co. and an executive of J&L Industries, the leader in in-store television driven sales.

Andrea Stuhley – Executive Vice President
Andrea started with Motivational in 1992. She has been involved in the creation and execution of major DR fulfillment programs, ranging from television, radio, print, fund raisers, and non-profit campaigns. She has managed numerous continuity programs and retail distribution for a variety of clients. Through the years she has been very active in ERA (Electronic Retailers Assoc.) attending all the shows and guest speaking on several panels. She then became instrumental in developing our continuity programs, working closely with the Computer Programmers. She advanced to Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales and has seven Account Executives working under her.

Tony Altman – Senior Vice President and General Counsel
Tony joined Motivational after 14 years of practicing law at his own law firm specializing in consumer protection from unsafe products, unfair business practices, unscrupulous and negligent corporate conduct. Tony has been involved in representing litigants in a variety of matters related to the DR industry. Tony oversees the daily operations of the direct response and retail divisions as well as handling all contract negotiations and legal matters for the Company. He also oversees the daily finances for the Company.

Jessie Ortiz – Vice President of Business Development
Jessie Ortiz started with Motivational in 1983. In her 28 years with Motivational Jessie has proven herself to be a key component in the success and growth of the Company. Jessie has steadily risen through the ranks of the Company managing the Customer Service Department and serving as a Senior Account Executive before becoming the Director of Client Services and now the Vice President of Business Development. Jessie is very active is all aspects of Motivational’s business, negotiating the Company’s freight rates will all of the major carriers, negotiating and administering the Company’s telephonic system, working closely with the account executives on their accounts as well as providing support and training, facilitating new client set-ups, overseeing invoicing and monthly reporting and generating new business for the Company.

Cheryl Nataren – Vice President, Retail Logistics
Cheryl started with MFLS more than a decade ago. Cheryl was instrumental in the formation of MFLS’ retail distribution division and continues to be an invaluable contributor to the Company’s continued growth. Cheryl is well versed in the art of supply chain management. Her work has also included sales, development, project implementation and management of the day to day Retail operations. She specializes in the operations side using 20 years of distribution experience to understand and manage multiple distribution verticals which allows her to adapt solutions to best fit each customer’s requirements. Her experience as a project and program manager was called on as the lead architect for Motivational's award winning WMS Edge system.

Robert Shearin – Vice President, Warehouse Operations
Robert is a former manufacturing engineer for Lockheed Martin aerospace division with a background in quality assurance. He has worked on several government projects dealing with military and federal aviation. He received an award from NASA for his work on “Mission Critical” space shuttle and the space station programs. His knowledge of quality assurance and familiarity with reading and interpreting government contracts and specifications has proved to be an asset when it comes to retail routing guides and vendor compliance manuals. Robert oversees the activity in all three of Motivational’s warehouses and is invaluable to the Company’s success.
